Hextable's Osteopath

A graduate of the London School of Osteopathy, Jason Cook trained partly under the Hextable Osteopath founder Graham Smith.  He has practised at a number of clinics from Westerham to Chelmsford and as Lead Osteopath at Essex's longest-running practice in Stanford-le-Hope.

He works with his patients to resolve their problems using what he describes as a 'common-sense' structural osteopathic approach, aiming to bring noticeable improvement quickly and to help you return to normal activity as quickly as the body will allow.

Jason's patients are 'typical' osteopathic patients, meaning people from all walks of life whether working-age, retired or students, who are seeking help with a range of musculoskeletal and other health issues to enable them to carry on with their lives as normal, continue in their jobs, manage their pain, or resume their leisure interests, sports and hobbies.

He is experienced in assisting patients with their post-surgical rehabilitation following hip and knee replacements, spinal surgery, and various shoulder surgeries including rotator cuff repairs and shoulder decompression, helping patients to achieve positive assessments from their surgeons at their final post-surgical reviews.

Competitive in earlier years, he also understands the needs of athletes from casual exercisers to seasoned campaigners and has international-standard triathletes and regional-level powerlifters in his care, along with recreational swimmers, runners and golfers, and fitness and Pilates instructors.  He also has a wealth of experience treating dancers and gymnasts, having practised at a clinic linked to a large performing arts college.

His friendly, down-to-earth nature and communication in plain English ensure a relaxed clinical experience while your physical problems are tackled and your questions and concerns answered.
