Appointment Essentials

Location

The clinic is located within St Peter's Church, College Road, Hextable BR8 7RH.

 

Parking is available at the rear of the church.

 

When the cafe is open you can enter the building through the main entrance on Main Road, and go through two double doors to the main reception hall.

 

The College Road entrance is always open.  Go through the white door at the top of the ramp, then through the white door to the right, into the reception hall.

 

Once in the reception hall, take a seat and I will find you at your appointment time*.

*(I may occasionally run a little late as treatment required can change during an appointment  - my apologies in advance).

What to wear

​

You will need to be able to move freely for examination and treatment, so please wear loose comfortable clothing if possible.  Tracksuit bottoms/shorts and a loose t-shirt are ideal.  Please avoid tight-fitting jeans/trousers/skirts if your issue is with your low back or knees/legs etc.

​

You may need to partially undress for examination and/or treatment, but this will be no more than strictly necessary and your modesty will be protected at all times.  Please therefore wear suitable underwear.

​

Please do not come to the clinic in soiled workwear or other clothing that is likely to deposit earth, oil, grease, paint, plaster or other materials. You are welcome to bring a change of clothing (shorts/jogging bottoms etc.) and change in clinic.

 

 

 

Bringing a friend or relative

 

Please feel free to bring a friend or relative to your appointment.

With the exception of guide dogs no pets are permitted in clinic.

​

​

 

Payment

 

Appointment fees can be paid in cash or via bank transfer.

 

Payment is due at the end of each appointment, prior to leaving the clinic.

​

If you would like to pay by transfer please text/WhatsApp me and I will send you the account details.

​

I will be pleased to provide a receipt if you need one.

​

If you have health insurance you will pay on the day and be given a receipt to claim the fee from your health insurance provider.  Please ensure before booking that your insurance scheme pays out for osteopathic treatment.

 

Non-payment is thankfully rare and unpaid fees/charges are recovered.

and attendance, as these policies are followed without exception

in order to ensure equal consideration for all patients.

Cancellation

 

Please call as soon as you become aware you need to cancel an appointment.

​

There is no charge for cancelling the day prior to your appointment, or earlier.

 

Same-day cancellation of an appointment is charged at £30.

Attendance

 

Timekeeping

Please leave enough time to arrive prior to your appointment start time.

 

Being late is sometimes unavoidable, but if you arrive late:

• there may not be enough time for your appointment, and;

• it will be treated as a same-day cancellation and charged accordingly.

 

If you think you may arrive late, please call to advise (please pull-over or use hands-free if driving), leaving a voicemail if necessary.

 

Non-Attendance

If you cannot attend an appointment please call before your appointment time.

If you fail to attend any appointment without prior notice the full fee remains due.

​

If you fail to attend your first appointment without prior notice no further appointments will be offered.
